Welcome to my personal blog. It took me quite some time before I decided to start my own blog, but I’m glad it’s finally out in the open. My name is Richard Hofland and I live in The Netherlands together with my wife and two sons.

After finishing my Bachelor in Information Technology I have been working in IT since the late nineties. At first as a System Administrator, later as a Consultant at KEMBIT where I’ve been working for since 2008.

My job description at KEMBIT is Infrastructure Architect and I fill most of my professional time at Hospitals based in the Netherlands. The last decade I’ve done implementations of vSphere powered datacenters and EUC implementations mainly focused on the Horizon suite.
